Welcome!

I’m a marine ecologist pursuing my Ph.D. at Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn as part of the Marine Symbiomes Research Group. I’m currently studying the role of invertebrate-bacterial associations in nitrogen cycling associated with seagrass ecosystems.

Here you will find my links to my publications, academic social networks, side projects, and occasional blog posts. Feel free to contact me in case of any inquiry!

Building a network of invertebrate-microbe associations from seagrass beds. Part II

I presented additional results from our bioturbator-microbe association project in the Incontro dei dottorandi e giovani ricercatori in Ecologia e Scienze dei Sistemi Acquatici, organized by the Associazione Italiana di Oceanografia e Limnologia (AIOL) and the Società Italiana di Ecologia (SItE).

I presented some preliminary results from our bioturbator-microbe association project in the first Ecology in R virtual conference. You can download the slides in the button above. This was a very interesting experience, where the focus was on showing our workflows, the typical packages we used, the limitations and advantages of using R for our projects.
